Vatican City

The Saint Peter's Square was large; I felt the distance to the entrance was very far. We had a security check at the entrance after standing in a long line. Inside Saint Peter's Basilica was large and very solemn.

The Vatican Museum was along the fence of Saint Peter's Square, but Saint Peter's Square was huge, and it took about 15 minutes to get there.

We had a 3:00 reservation to see "The Last Judgment" and "The Creation of Adam" by Michelangelo at the Vatican museum. We went to the Sistine Chapel to see them. It was very impressive. I couldn't believe that we were really seeing the paintings! I wondered how he did a huge project like this; the scale of this painting is huge, precise and solemn, and on the ceiling! I am vey sorry that taking pictures were prohibited.
