Rome

We rode on the express train from Bari to Termini in Rome; it was four hour trip. Termini station was big and very crowded. We had to stand in a line to get a bus ticket at Tabacchi. Tabacchi is a kind of small convenience store. You can get tickets for the bus, metro, stamps and sundries there.
It was hard for us to find which bus would go to near our hotel in the stop at bus terminal.

There were many lines every bus stop like this in Rome.

We went to the Square of Spain, the Trevi Fountain, the Mouth of Truth famous by "Roman Holiday". It was very crowded everywhere.

I threw two coins over my left shoulder. Throwing coins over your left shoulder with your back toward the fountain means that you will come back to Rome again someday and throwing two coins means you will live in perfect harmony as husband wife. I really hope it!  Anyway, it was too crowded to enjoy it.

The Mouth of Truth

It is believed that the Mouth of Truth would bite your hand if you are liar.

The Coliseum was the Amphitheater in Imperial Rome; it could accommodate about 50,000 spectators. Emperors used the Coliseum to entertain the people with free games and to show their power. The building had four stories.

We went to the Roman Forum. It was large enough to walk through and it took a half day.

I thought it excellent to keep these ruins of ancient Rome.
