Swiss Watch

I noticed that there was a lot of clocks here and there; Switzerland is truly a country of clocks.

This is a clock at a railway station.

Mondaine Watch below is designed from the official Swiss railway clock; it was famous and popular because of its design. The second hand of a clock is red, and we could clearly see the time. I bought it for the memory of our trip to Switzerland.

Hiking from First to Lake Bachalpsee

We hiked to Lake Bachalpsee from First. While we were hiking, we enjoyed snow-covered Alps and flowers. The air was very fresh and the sky was clear blue.

There were many cows, and they came across our hiking course walking slowly in front of us.

Many people were enjoying the course to Lake Bachalpsee.

It was not the best season to enjoy flowers, but we were attracted by the flowers.

It took about two hours to Lake Bachalpsee as this brochure says.

We enjoyed the scenes once again on our way back to First Observatory.

First Flyer

2012/8/8

We took a rope way to go to First Observatory. The rope way station was close from our hotel.

It was a fine day to enjoy a beautiful view from the rope way.

We were looking forward to enjoying the First Flyers, a flying on the rope from First to Schreckfeld. We were really thrilled by it. I was very scared if my flyer could stop at the ending point because of its speed.

Hiking from Kleine Sheidegg

We returned to Kleine Sheidegg.
Keline Sheidegg station is surrounded by picturesque views.
These views are really like postcard.

There is a lot of cows with bells. We heard pretty sounds of cow's bell here and there. It was a very impressive place.

We enjoyed the hiking course from Kleine Sheidegg to Mannlichen. We were sorry that we couldn't see mountains clearly because of clouds at the top of mountains, but the views were breathtaking.
You can enjoy the views of the Eiger, Monch and Jungraujoch from the hiking the course from Kleine Sheidegg to Mannlichen. We took the reverse, but we enjoyed the scenes of views.

Jungfraujoch~ Top of Europe (3454m)

2012/8/7

We got on a train to Jungfraujoch at Kleine Sheidegg . The train ran up to Jungfraujoch: Top of Europe: 3454m. The train was really amazing and we could see well the advanced technology of Sweitzerland on trains to climb up the high mountains.

The train ran slowly, and outside scene through windows changed gradually from the green of countryside to the black of a long tunnel.

The train stopped at Eismeer: 3,160m, and we had about 5 minutes to enjoy the glaciers and to take picture of them through windows.

This was magnificent! How great nature is!

Joungfraujoch station

We climbed up to the Sphinx Observatory (3571m) by elevator and enjoyed Monch(4107m) , the other mountains of Alps and Aletsch Glacier from the station.

The great Monch appeared right in front of our eyes at the moment we stepped out onto the deck of the observatory.

We posted our post cards into a mail box which was located at the top of Europe.

Trummelbach Falls

2012/8/6

We went to Trummelbach Falls by bus from Lauterbrunnen station via Interlaken. We got lost at Lauterbrunnen station because we chose a wrong exit, but anyway we got there finally.

The falls made of meltwater from Alps running thorough mountains.

Big roar of the waterfalls. Difficult to talk to each other.

Coming out from the falls to look down the beautiful view.
